Sets removed

So I've noticed with one of the recent updates some sets and the champions there in have been removed and any cards that were placed in these sets are now gone. Thanks EA...

Headliners sets were removed. Noticed that yesterday.

None of the sets appeared to be time sensitive yet they are now gone without any warning or heads up. I've had enough of EA's BS.

Yes Headliners, the Harvest champions, the Most Feared champions... maybe some others.

Why aren't more people talking about this?  I used these sets (and others) to hold extra cards.  The "new" set organization sucks too!!

EA caps the amount of cards we can have in our binders (never really understood that either) then deletes sets without warning and doesn't add the cards in the sets back to our binders?  Come on MAN!!

Yeah I was pretty furious over this. Lost many high-mid elites over this, just completely wasted. Didn't return them, didn't recycle them for coin or even training points... just gone with no warning. Contacted EA Help about it to remind myself just how worthless they are...

What did EA say?  Basically we are SOL?

Yeah pretty much. Tried to tell me the sets were time sensitive and they expired, which they weren't, so basically lied and had no idea what they were talking about. The EA Help feature though is basically you get a response from some dude in India, completely worthless.

For anything to maybe even possibly happen we'd need more people to talk about it/bring it up which as was brought up no one else seems to be up in arms over this.

I agree, I can't believe no one else is jumping on.  

They actually took cards away from us!  They complain about everything under the sun, but not this.  lol  Go figure.

I've never seen this happen so maybe somewhere the sets still exist. I have never seen cards in expired sets disappear; they  have always been returned in the past...if EA does not return the cards or the sets you have a legit gripe and I would take it to corporate EA

Yeah I dunno. When I talked with the rep from the EA Help feature they pretty much confirmed to me that they were gone, the rep reasoned the sets were time sensitive that they were set to be removed when they were. They took out the Team Affinity stuff briefly, namely the set to redeem for the 99 OVR Team Affinity player, which they eventually returned with the coins that were entered. I feel this is different though but maybe they can fix it and return them but I won't hold my breath...

Honestly these reps wouldn't know what sets are gone. They are really clueless. Once this hits twitter EA will return everyone's cards because not doing so it actually a bigger violation on their part than you may think. They have to have a valid reason (you violated TOS, etc), to take your content which is technically a part of your purchase of the game or via microtransaction.

Agreed that they are clueless. The reasoning I was given was complete BS. Like, I'm constantly working on these sets, adding cards here and there from packs or however I come about them. Never has there been any kind of thing that suggested they'd expire. With as bad as this iteration of Madden has been, I'm not surprised they attempted to remove things to try and improve gameplay but they could've at least provided some kind of warning or something. Would've gladly removed them and transferred them towards the TOTY sets...
