Is theme teaming worth it?

Although there are many benefits to running a theme team ie +2 speed and acceleration when maxed, however it  restricts the cards you can use on your team as you try to maintain the them team

Not that restricting if you only run 40/50. The journeyman strat card makes reaching the 50 chems unnecessary imo.

If you have a player you like and want a little oomph then yeah. You can get 25 players from the same team and you're great. 

50/50 theme team? Ew

The game is old and stale at this point. Just start using your favorite team or favorite players.
