Are Linebackers and Safeties affected by Man and Zone coverages (specifically man) and if so, who are the best in those categories. Thanks.
Could you explain more?

For example, let's say based on the scheme that someone runs (man or zone) would their be a better safety to fit into those schemes than others? Like a certain safety who is very good in man but less in zone and vice versa.

I understand now, thank you.
For me, I look for play recognition, man, zone, agility, and change of direction.
If I'm usering a player then I don't care as much about play recognition.

Thanks. One last thing, are there any certain ability discounts you looks for besides the typical knockout abilities (zone ko, route ko)

It depends on the player. If it's someone like Sauce I choose deep route KO. If it's a zone guy I choose zone.
For SubLB in the box I choose flat or mid. If it's a linebacker I always choose lurker.
Know what is going like gangbusters? Acrobat. It did not work all year but the second the 98 level cards showed up I have players cartwheeling around like the Flying Garbonanza Brothers.
