Is Quadfather outdated / almost outdated?

I’ve seen multiple people say that the quadfather is outdated, but every time I go against him he’s a maniac.

The X-Factor will keep him viable for the rest of the year, but at the moment his speed is becoming outdated. You can break tackles, but he'll get caught. And once the X-Factor is deactivated (which isn't that hard) people almost completely abandon the run

Not quite outdated due to the X-Factor, even with some of the 98 OVR and soon to be 99 OVR HBs in MUT... but sooner or later everyone will slowly begin to stop using him as a "meta" HB. We're beginning to see it now with peole moving on to Gus The Bus, Josh Jacobs, and some others. The new Barry that will come out on Thursday as part of the Ring Of Honor program might be the clear-cut new best in the game.
