i guess ill try again tomorrow even when I attempt to log in through the EA website it says my credentials are expired despite getting a fresh password reset email when I booted up madden, the other error I've been getting is just saying that's its a technical error on EAs end

Don't use your Xbox Account to log in to the EA site. Try using just your email and password on your EA account.
