I have been playing mut since the middle of 22. I am on next gen xbox now. I loved the team building aspect of it. Well now I kind of want to play some h2h and I got 5 games so far. I won 2 but the others absolutely destroyed me. It was like soon as I snapped the ball I was sacked every time. I have edge protectors on my LT&RT. They are both 95 and with the boost 96. 97 Kelce is my center. My whole o-line I would say is pretty decent. I could not stop them and then they would drop bombs on me after they got the ball each time. I am not expecting to be good and just come in and win without playing h2h before, but that shit is soul crushing. Can someone please give me guidance to be able to have a few secs to throw the ball. Any feedback is appreciated and thanks for reading this.
Under center and play-action plays don't usually work well unless you have Secure Protector on all of your linemen, at least in my experience. I prefer Gun formations. Keep the HB in the backfield to block. Should give you at least an extra second.
you will probably want to youtube search some strategy sites. Zan on youtube does a great job with teaching concepts. Stay away from scumbags who simply teach how to glitch out coverages. Sadly, there really isnt a single thing like upgrade your lineman that will get rid of this kind of stuff. You need to know how to block it.
First thing to remember is there is a whole lot of RNG in Madden. Meaning your line can block for hours one game, then completely miss the rushers the next game. That’s just the way it’s gonna be and always has been.
now that you understand that, a few tips: 1) don’t push the turbo button (RT) Cause that will cause rushers to automatically shed the block. 2) learn to move in the pocket with just the left stick. If you see the edges are running wide, step up. If you see they run narrow, keep dropping back. 3) don’t be afraid to take sacks. too often, I will throw the ball too early thinking I have no time cause I don’t wanna get sacked. 2nd and long is better than a turnover

I guess that's what I will be spending my money on to get lineman with secure protector discounts. Thanks Champ!

No problem! Kelce gets SP and Nasty Streak for 1 AP, I run that on him personally

I would strongly suggest getting an offensive line that can run 5 secure protectors, a threat detector, and an identifier for 5 ap as a start.

yeah I got behind because when I first started I wasnt playing h2h but all I heard is you Edit: have to have "2"secure protectors. obviously, the game has evolved lol

Definitely. Just be careful in H2H against players with the AKA Unstoppable X-Factor. SP won't help as much with these, so you'll just have to predetermine reads and be sure to use Fearless on your QB if you want to get a pass off
Just wanted to say thank you to the Madden Community! There are a lot of cool people in here always willing to help! Thank YEW

Thanks, I got Justin Herbert, so I am running the "god stack" which included fearless and I just picked up Lamb and Waddle. I was so excited and got Rekt lol thats how it goes sometimes. I am most def about to work on my o-line though!

Not pressing turbo is a huge part of the game that most people don't understand. As soon as you press that trigger, the entire defense sheds their blocks and are on you. One way you can practice that is in solos. It will be in your muscle memory before you know it.
This far into the year you need someone with better awareness at center.
You want a smart center because he takes your least intelligent lineman and gives him the same awareness he has.
A relatively cheap option is the LTD Pouncey. He has 97 awareness.
