QB Archetype question.

Do the QB archetypes affect anything such as scrambler & improviser consistently making passes on the run or getting out of the pocket easier? Field general & strong arm consistently making accurate deep throws over a scrambler or improviser? Or is it just the AP on abilities which it affects?

Not really. That is all stat thresholds and abilities. 

The only thing archetypes are for is how much AP it costs for abilities.

Archetype affects which Abilities a player can get and the AP cost for them. That's it.
