Only reason I have some hope that we'll see Brett Favre is because we recently got Aqib Talib (now obviously he didn't kill anyone himself but he apparently started the fight that got someone killed). If EA can give Aqib Talib a card with all the controversy surrounding his brother and himself than surely they could give Favre a card... at least one would think but this is EA we're talking about.

That's why I said selective morality. Talib is in there, but yet Deshaun Watson was pulled from the game a few weeks in and, as far as I know, has yet to return.
If some run of the mill player had been caught abusing dogs, they'd be out of there. But Michael Vick sells packs!
Gruden gets pulled for the emails.
All examples of EA's inconsistency with all of this.

I can tell ya he will not have a card this year because of all that stuff going on with the Mississippi welfare money. Apparently the 32 team chem John Elway was supposed to be Fabre but becwise of that crimina case, they changed it.
What would actually be even more awesome than Favre would be Bart Starr.

Not exactly sure why the players are chosen for this promo, but I thought the general theme was ”fan-favorites” for their respective teams. For the 49ers I’d like to see either Jesse Sapolu, Bryant Young, or Frank Gore
