Started playing Madden 2 months ago, why is there so much hype abbout easter?

What are "egg re rolls"?  Should I not buy tvps? Besides this stupid op strat card this doesn't seem like much.

Egg rolls are a training pack that you can open for either large, medium, small or variety.  They are usually in the game and offer the opportunity for people to acquire a massive number of eggs for training.  Eggs are much like presents during the Christmas promo.  They offer a variety of items as the contents of the eggs so many people spend a ton of training to gather as many as they can in hopes of them containing a lot high value cards (coins) so that will allow them to pick up players in the future without having to spend money.
