Is Pick Artist necessary on a user?

If I plan to use a player exclusively as a user, does he need PA? And if I have Acro but not PA, will he still get diving animations?

It’s best to get someone who can get both. I don’t think Pick Artist is necessary in certain situations.

With PA you can hit the ball hawk button early and not get penalized for bad timing. With acro you'll get the same animations whether you user him or not

No he doesn’t NEED Pick Artist.

If you have Acro you will still get the diving animations without PA.

I’m currently using Darren Woodson with only 0AP Enforcer and he gets great animations.

So if I’m holding Y covering a slant, and my opponent tries throwing over top to a crosser, without PA, I won’t animate and get a jumping INT? I’ve gotten so many INTs like that where they wanna throw behind me to a crossing route and I just jump and snatch it. is that considered a bad timed ball hawk or that has nothing to do with PA?

pick artist is for stamina reasons once you catch a pick you won't be huffing and puffing trying to take the ball all the way to the crib

personally you need both. as a linebacker and a safety.

PA doesn't affect animation..... only helps if you have bad timing with ball Hawk and gives better catching and stamina on INTs
