Maniac and it's not even close. Maniac gets that unstoppable force aka x-factor which is the best way to create pressure without blitzing in the game.
I would only choose Haley is if your a massive charles haley fan or your just buying them to boost your team ovr and want to save some coin. Otherwise Maniac is just better.

Nah I just want to get the better player so sounds like Maniac is the way to go. Thanks man

Haley was no existent when I had him on the squad. Maniac is definitely the player you want to add, especially if you are planning on using his X-Factor.

AKA New Class cards are the best in the game due to their X-Factors. That being said, I concur with what others have said, Maniac is the way to go.

I think I will use his X factor. I have Jalen Ramsey TOTY, Bosa TOTY, AKA hitman and AKA PS2. Should I use the AKA players X-factors then and not the TOTY players? I'm including Maniac here

You'll definitely want maniac and his x-factor over using the pass rushing abilities on bosa. If your players play one type of coverage the aka x-factors might not help much on corners but are more helpful if you mix up your coverages. Hitman's x-factor is only worth it if you regularly find yourself making tackles with him

Oh get it. Then I will use his X-factor. Seems like one of the best AKA cards
