Purple Eggstravagant Egg Prediction

There is a purple Eggstravagant Egg that quicksells for 350k training (same value as a 99 OVR). This egg has been predicted to contain a 99 OVR ROH player (which makes sense because of the color).

Tonight when I saw the Golden Ticket art in game it was purple as well.

Am I the only one wondering if this purple egg is possibly our first GT instead of an ROH 99?

It wouldn’t be the first time we got our first GT from an egg on Easter. A couple years ago I believe we got a Jadeveon Clowney GT.

I currently have 3 of these eggs in my binder and I would be happy if they are ROH 99’s but I’m actually leaning towards it being a GT instead. If they are ROH 99‘s it would significantly lower the value on the ROH cards which have been one of the few programs to consistently stay at a much higher selling price than most other top cards.

I 100% agree, I just feel like it would be a very EA move to not put ROH in eggs to try to keep the market high on them. If they are ROH’s I will gladly be getting Moss, LT, and Deion cheap on Sunday if they aren’t already in my eggs.

If it's a GT it's either the FS peppers from gmm or a new card entirely. Will be interesting to see.

No, it would have at least some gold if it was GT. Also, that would make there be tons of Golden Tickets and EA wouldn't allow that. If it's a player, then the egg would hatch too soon because the GT players will be out in a few weeks, when the eggs hatch in a few days

I'm curious, do you remember how soon after this GT players came out Sochi. Because if it was soon I think this becomes more plausible.

This some digging.... this obviously came out on Easter Day 2021 (April 4th)..... GT Community List for Madden 21 was revealed on April 28th (24 days later).... first batch of GTs came out on April 30th (26 days later)

Thanks for doing the research. With them not even starting making gts until next friday or so I'm going to say probably not a gt.

It literally happened this way two years ago, we got Clowney GT on Easter. The next batch of GT’s weren’t in game until the very end of April.

You would think if it was a GT there would be something gold but who knows with EA, that’s why I said the GT art in game is purple…like the egg…

I would be ok with either a GT or a ROH player.  If worse comes to worse, I can just QS it for training.
