I havent looked at all of them, but take for example the Morgan Moses card...he gets puller elite and nasty streak for 0ap. I like Secure protectors all across my OLINE (use Post up on my Center) I will even use OTs at OG if they get SP for 1ap. But if I want to run the ball, i will sub in Moses with his 0ap Puller elite or Nasty streak depending on the runnning play.
Not sure I like the idea of telegraphing my play before I run it. I know you could set up out of this but still don't love giving some information. Plus a situation sub doesn't really get many people excited if their starter will get the job done.
It doesn’t seem worth it to have an 800k coin backup to sub in for certain running plays…. maybe if you have like 60 million coins then you have a point. I, for one, missed both the TVP and Egg reroll glitch so I rely on other coin making methods and am only sitting at 2 million (With intent to buy Moss and Barry).

Its not an X factor. Odds of a H2H opponent even noticing you subbed in a OL with abilities is slim to none.
Also, last year, I always used Marshawn Lynch Sugar Rush X factor (breaks first tackle) at the goalline. I would use him as a decoy too. I would use Pistol option. Many players would run commit and I would have an Easy passing TD.
Just gotta be smarter than your opp. Plus with that card, odds of Lynch not getting in with his 2 tries was slim. If they did stop you, still got 3rd down.

Ill take the OL with a running ability over a OL without one. Abilities matter. They especially matter when the player are similarly rated. LIke a 96 with an abilitiy is better than a 99 without one.
I used 94 (was a 96 with strat card) LT Cameron Jordan all year last year because he has 0ap Edge Protector.

Yeah, I dont have that issue. But, something for you to think about in the future.

I disagree. I think good players will pickup on you subbing in an olineman.

I guess it depends on how you have your abilities set up. I have all the rushing abilities I want on my starters so a backup to do the same thing wouldn't be useful to me.

That is true. I pass the ball probably 90 percent of the time. My OL is Secures. My other AP goes into route ability, redzones, and QB ability. A 0ap puller elite or nasty streak is great for me.

So what stops you from subbing them in and passing the ball? You dont think having a bunch of running abllities tips your OPP that youre a runner on offense?
Your theory is not adding up.

I admitted in my original post you could use the sub as a decoy for setting up other plays. I didn't make myself clear on that my bad.
A bunch of running abilities would tip off you're most likely a runner. And a good player will prepare a defense that's strong against the run in response.
You're subbing in the player to try and gain an advantage on a specific play/play type. The good opponent notices your tendicies when you sub and adjusts in response. By adjusting you opponent hopefully negates the advantage you would gain from subbing in a different player. You adjust in response by passing a few times with the sub on the field. Your opponent adjusts to your adjustments. This cycle continues until the end of the game.
Basically, I don't think it results in a big enough advantage to be worth it. We'll probably just have to agree to disagree though.

For someone where coins is an issue, yeah, not worth it. But, what if someone pulls something from a pack?
Also, I have not looked at all the Sugar Rush 0 AP abilities. I am sure you could find something useful out of it. And if you can afford it, no reason not to have it in the tool shed, and in a game where abilities wins, having a 0ap player is great. Also, maybe you run into a player that does not have a good set up for a particular ability that you have sitting on tool belt. Thats when you whip it out like Jonny Sins.
Cheers mate!
