I like smith over seau enough that I would wait it out for one to be on the market. But if you absolutely have to upgrade now seau is fine.

There's kirksey and rashaan evans. If you don't plan to play them much, Evans is fine and practically free when you consider he's an ltd.

If he's mostly playing on special team and being used to stuff goal line runs he's probably fine. If you plan to actually play him in coverage you're gonna have a bad time
