I personally like abilities except for the aka freight train. Any of y'all's complaining about kos have a serious skill issue

Yeah the amount of random OOP players is kinda crazy. I think OOP should only be for players who actually played at that position at some point, like a Center Zeke or a Free Saftey gronk. So no random Tom Brady Oline card but still can have fun with the OOP players
ive Thought about this a lot, but in the end I think they just need to nerf them. Gunslinger should only speed up the release 1 tier of release. Zone KOs should only knockout aggs. Every qb should have PLE built in, and every DB should have pick artist. Every LB should have lurker automatically. Stuff like beating man should be based off how good the route running is and how good the DBS man coverage is. And a route shouldn’t beat man every time and a route shouldnt be shut down every time. Deep out elite should be removed from the game. This would make the best and most realistic game they could come down to. It would also please the people who want skill gap. This years engine was really good except the aggs.
Yes absolutely. They'll keep them though....it stems from competing with 2k and its a way to make more money. They are introducing them into hockey and other games so its unlikely to see them go, but the game was better without them for sure. I miss madden 12.

I agree w/ most of your points except for the one about the route running, there needs to be routes that beet man every time otherwise many would be way more OP than it already is.

I wouldn't delete them, but I would limit abilities to only certain players that fit said ability, eg bazooka on mahomes, herbert, or allen, escape artist on hurts and jackson, and i would eliminate 0 ap abilities so people cant load up on free abilities.
however, 24, if we get it, should be physics based and not animation based.

No. Here's why. I think all players would feel the same without abilities. Although, their needs to be regulations on what the player is getting. For example, Drew Brees, one of the most accurate passers in NFL History, deserves maybe a "pinpoint accuracy" ability, where he hardly misses a throw. Same with Mahomes, he has phenomenal throwing distance, so he does really deserve a Bazooka ability. Side note- I think Mahomes kind of started the abilities in the first place. Same with Omaha in Peyton Manning. For non-qbs, running backs like Derrick Henry, or any trucking, brusing backs deserve a freight train ability.
At this point, you probably get my point, that certain players get abilities. The problem with this is EA will somehow make these cards to overpowered.
