Scores would probably be in the 60s every time. Say what you want, but they (KOs) are ESSENTIAL to this year's game. They allow a modicum of pass defense.
PPL bitching about Freight Train will always be funny to me. Sure it can be cheap here and there, but shit's taking on boogeyman status at this point. If you can't stop the run, then that's your fault. Notice how no other aka Xs are shitted on? Just Freight Train. Sure someone brings up the DLine one every now and then, but whew boy that Freight Train? Created in Satan's Lab lol. If you're consistently in situations where there's literally only one man trying to tackle a running back, then that's a you problem. Learn how to play defense.
KO'S Are not needed. what's need is a new manufacturer. EA is just trying to mask a problem by adding these x factors and abilities. Cause the reality of it is is that their mechanics are garbage. and it shows time and time again. It's Ridiculous how long this has gone on for. Change needs to happen, cause I don't know about all of you guys, but I'm done paying for a half working game.

It's now nfl blitz
Edawg7 said:I agree w/ most of your points except for the one about the route running, there needs to be routes that beet man every time otherwise many would be way more OP than it already is.
there Is no route in football that beats man every time. But there should be a higher chance of a player getting absolutely fried on a double move, like 20 feet of separation.
ThorsQuads said:1000% yes. And if they NEED to keep them, do what they did in 20 where only 3 players on each side of the ball can have abilities and an X-Factor. Sick of the KOs and Freight Train. That’s probably my biggest complaint from this whole game. Never seen such bigger bailouts in my life and that’s including Dashing Deadeye in 20 when there was no yard cap on it.
And escape artist lol. It boosted scrambling speed behind the los.

QB283 said:Yes. They need to program it like real football. A couple points I'd like to make:
1. QBs shouldn't need SFL/PLE in order to be usable. Just program the card so it plays like an NFL QB. They should play as if they have these abilities anyway. As for something like Gunslinger, it shouldn't be necessary.
2. Organic pass rush. No abilities. Shouldn't need ET and DON in order to generate pressure. Pressure should be determined by 1 on 1 matchups and personnel. If I'm blitzing 8 players then I should get pressure but WRs should be wide open. If I rush only 3 or 4 the amount of pressure should be lower, except in the case where an edge rusher is not double teamed and is vastly superior in ratings to the lineman.
3. ’Abilities‘ that normal NFL have should not exist. Are you telling me that every linebacker that can jump has lurker?Everyone who’s ever done a runoff has runoff elite? Wtf is up with that thing‘s description? Grants more convincing runoffs? You mean it allows your wideouts to run in a straight line?

Yup I remember that. Gun Tight with Mahomes. Snap, scramble to the right, launch a 50 yard pass on the run, sideline tiptoe catch, repeat. Literally unguardable Lol
No, abilities are the only thing keeping me in the game these days. Without abilities, Aaron Rodgers would always be the number one , and running the ball wouldn’t be fun. Height would rule the game even more, and defense would suck with no acrobat or pick artist. Most throws would be deep bombs or knockouts. The only good thing would be no annoying KO’s.
bbrewer23goblue said:Lies.....game starting xfactors are a 100% bailout for bad players....bet you wouldnt and couldnt run all day without freight train lol
I make lots of ppl quit before Dillon even takes the field. I run just as well with Aaron Jones. Y'all keep saying this bullshit though if it makes you feel better. Not everyone is trash at running the ball like y'all.
SauceWithCheeseSauce said:Kos are so overpowered it’s not fair or realistic. Go play regs where no one has kos. Nobody’s going for 500 yards or 60+ points. Xfactors are a bailout mechanism for players that suck at the game. Both are incredibly unrealisti.
You invalidated any opinion when you brought up Regs. We're not playing Regs lol. This shit is arcade football and y'all keep talking about unrealistic. NOTHING about MUT is realistic. Learn to accept it. I stand on my statement: take KOs out of the game and the game would be unplayable. Maybe y'all like to throw the ball with little to no repercussions, but that shit ain't it for me. Sorry.

Oh look, someone that responded to my comment with some actual sense. Yes change needs to happen, but we need to stop saying and expecting it, cause it's never coming. EA gonna have this license until they decide they don't want it, and they're gonna keep parading this product out because everyone keeps buying it. It's just like when folks shit on 2K. Don't mean nothing cause the $$$ keep flowing in. Stop buying and they'll be forced to change. But we (as a collective) will never stop buying.
From mut yes, but from franchise and refs, no.

I 100% agree with you. People forget that 6 months ago by DB's had Parham's and Moss's balls in their face every down. MCS kickoff was won by a dunk by Parham.
I just don't think I would play if everyone just threw the ball up every play, which is what KO's and pick artist prevent. And if you haven't figured out how to free form away from KO's, beat man and flood zone at this point in the year I think you should be looking at yourself as a player.
This is the best madden they have put out in a while, much more pocket, an actual pocket degradation timer, and for the most part dumb balls get punished. My biggest issue would be O line logic, both pass and run blocking. Also dollar should never work this well against the run. I think its time for dollar to be a prevent only or passing downs only defense, we can't have it be the meta at the end of each madden.
And I know we all complain about the tight meta, but bunch was the meta for 3-4 years there so it is nice to have a little change. Games never going to be perfect, but overall from a gameplay standpoint it plays well.
