I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that my DB will basically run the route without shadowing. For example on a drag he will literally be 3 feet in front of the receiver, not even looking at him. It allows players to throw behind and easily complete passes. Another time it happened was when NTL was guarding a deep corner route and ended up 5-6 feet deeper down field then the receiver. Easy underneath completion followed.
