What contributes to OVR?

I’m just confused. How do each position’s overalls get calculated? I have Madden at RT, and his stats are better than Evan Neal, but Madden is 98 on a 50/50 team when Neal is 99 at baseline. What makes a better RT?

Seems like it's just a penalty for using players outside of their natural position. I agree though, especially with LB's and DE's - their overall sometimes drops if you swap what side they're on even though the stats are the same.

Maybe cuz Neal as more chems and is in his corccet poisruin or maybe ur starts have something to do with it

Overall doesnt matter. When you play a person OOP it takes an overall dip but theres no penalty anymore for doing so.
