Ah, yes. Backyard Ballers - arguably THE most divisive program in all of Madden - returns. Seems that a lot of people either love it or hate it, with nothing in between.
I'll have to wait and see who the players are to see if any of them will be useful for me. But I really hope that they bring back the house rules style solo challenges with the play cooldown. It's cool to do something out of the ordinary.

Hope this happens. Would definitely get this guy. And totally agree that Palo-mao doesn’t deserve a 99, never even heard of the guy

Unfortunately that’s how madden is now with not doing over 100 stats & gameplay revolving around abilities. They can’t figure out how to code DBs to catch the ball without pick artist for example
also… many positions have stagnated abilities wise since Christmas. Only ones really who has progressed since then are Man Corners (shades & osa), Offensive linemen (secure protector), and QB god stack (2-3 ap). It’s May 2nd… only a month and a half left of the game. 3-5 programs: Backyard Ballers, Fan Appreciation, GT, Rookie Premiere, and a mystery one, maybe. Game is over, hard core’s really only ones left.
stats don’t mean anything to the community currently. Animations (why EA is changing every QB release) and Ability discounts.

Not quite. It may be true now but people have been saying this for some time while there were still some abilities that were not yet available at discount or for free. We only recently got a couple safeties who have cheap tackle supreme to combat the precious flash. Those players are not useless just like the recent right tackles with 0 SP and the soon to come center who will have 0 AP. These players are hardly useless and it's a bit of an overreaction.
