Anyone have a solid defense after the AP update? I run dollar 3-2 solely man and I'm getting toasted everywhere.
Current AP breakdown:
2AP universal coverage Chad Johnson FS
2AP PA/One step ahead on Pat Pete
2AP on edge rushers with x factors
Pick artist or med route KO's on other corners
Pick artist on 2 users
Deep out KO on other deep safety.
Any suggestions? I play squads defense and can't stop anything besides the run, even straight streaks demolish me.
dollar is the easiest defense to beat in the game. stop running dollar. also you can't run man after the AP update. switch to zone.

What formation would suggest? Nickle? and what zone? I was trying cover 4 and still getting toasted

Deep Out Zone KO is by far the best KO ability now and is the best ability for your secondary other than Pick Artist.

If you are on Xbox and play h2h a lot, you’re gunna want to load up on closer. keep the games close and you’ll be activating X factors like crazy. Again that’s just for Xbox, and you should lmk when you’re online.
In all seriousness, your defense looks great! I run deep zone KO on my FS (with PA), and on my outside corners. Nickel back gets secure tackler and PA. Dime back is Deion with PA and Acro. My sub lbs are safeties and one has secure tackler, one tackle supreme, and PA on both.
Switch to Zone defense. I primarily ran man coverage before the update. It just doesn't work as well anymore. Learn to adjust zones and user lurk.

Yeah not enough AP now to properly run man. Switching to zone will help. What free abilities do you have on your other guys on D besides the ones you listed?

I mean technically it's usable, but there are so many man-beating routes and not enough defensive AP to counter them.
Technically you can still run man you just have to adjust your AP and team a bit.
I‘ve always ran man all game pre AP update and after.
