I am gonna love golden tickets but also hate them because they will be impossible to play against with the cbs coming out

The AP reduction was a final attempt to stabilize the game but the returns have not been promising.
Worst yet, multiple devs have said this AP reduction and limited abilities isn't helping next year's game since it's already made. What this is doing is trying to fix the obscene shift in haves and have-nots across the H2H landscape due to people taking advantage of the various problems along the way this season that made so many millionaires.
I hear what you’re saying but the glitches aren’t the reason for the AP reduction. The AP reduction took place because everyone had 25 abilities on both offense and defense and the game from a competitive standpoint was leaning towards being too “man meta“ that even comp players were complaining about it. EA did it to themselves by releasing the best cards in the game so soon (ROH, Game Changers, etc.) Also AKA’s were so good that nobody would use any other cards at RB or DE. Sure people have way more coin this year than ever, but to me, it’s more so an issue with EA’s sequencing of player drops and then them trying to reel it back in too late with the AP reduction.

I'm telling you what the devs told me why they did it.
They reduced most abilities to 1 AP with the idea that they would be all over. They had no problem with abilities, they make everyone work correctly. What they didn't plan for was the number of people who would take advantage of exploits and change everything from the meta to the auction house.
There weren't supposed to be this many God squads at this point in the season where a good chunk of players can buy everything they want going forward. Plus punishing the have nots with things like screwing with people in the auction house.
I wouldnt say it was dead but stale is how i would describe it.I still play but not as much.

The Pool of players is so small now, everyone that’s still playing is sweaty as hell, EVERYONE using Flash or Gus even on theme teams. I feel like with the 12 AP, people were more willing to experiment with players. Now, they just use what they know will work. I played the same guy in Champs 3 out of 4 games I played. Content is dry and the players that actually do come out are big names that try and bring people back in.
I agree with this 100% all this did was make gameplay dry I have played 10 Champs games and 8/10 have been against people running with flash and gus its crazy.
Yeah it's hard to actually find a h2h match. I decided to go on cause it's been awhile and usually it takes 10 seconds to find someone it takes half a minute!
