How do i fix my MUT lineup’s Ap cap

everytime i try to get under the AP limit, i get told “Ability cap exceeded”. Im a lil late but, what’s the fix?

Sub out some of the players that are using AP. This deactivates the abilities when you sub them out and back in. Example: I have stroud and mahomes as a backup. I swap stroud to 2nd string and then back to first string.
