Does anyone have VALID gameplay concerns about the AP change?

Just seeing people complain and for EA to do this is obviously messed up. It’s 100% a cash grab and THAT’S the reason we should be ticked off. Gameplay wise: nobody has said anything of value other than “it’s gonna be harder to play defense/offense“. No points have been made, from a GAMEPLAY ONLY perspective, that justifies these complaints. Well,

1) the other player has to deal with the changes too. So it’s not just you. It’s more strategic now where you have to place AP.

2) you guys act like you were using 4-6 AP on Tackle Supremes/Secure Tacklers. So to say “it’s gonna be harder to stop AKAs“ makes no sense. It would actually be easier because your opponent won’t be able to pass if they’re using AP on Vanguard and NS for example. If they allocate a lot of AP towards running, chances are there WRs and TEs have only 1 ability. Gameplan around that!

3) ABILITIES STILL EXIST! You guys can’t seriously say you have an AP allocated to EVERY starter on your team. You have players with free abilities in your lineups and they’ll play the exact same way. Old players aren’t “useless” anymore. 

4) this game is still RANDOM AS HELL! Some games you’re gonna lose and others you win. This change has 0 effect on that. If anything, it means you or your opponent gets bailed out less times cause you can’t have KOs all over the field. And you can’t sub in Bus when Flash is deactivated 🤦🏽‍♂️. 
 

Look, what It sounds like to me is that people are upset that their schemes are getting messed up. You can’t run Route KOs on all corners, PLUS X-Factors, plus Acrobats. THAT’S A GOOD THING! And on offense, you can still use AKA backs but Inside Stuffs are still 0 AP, and now you can worry less about the pass game. I don’t understand the gameplay complaints.

The players aren't programmed to play without their abilities. 

If that was being patched in that would be another matter. 

I do not like the idea that most players will be broken in all ways until Madden 24.

I played with 8/12  AP when I was testing my O-Line last night WITH NO SP.  Im sure youll still get sacked but after making Pre SNap Double team adjustments I feel like it played well. Think I got sacked like twice all game running just Post ups(Gs, C) and Edge Elites(Ts).

And even then, there are linemen with 0 AP Secure now so you don’t have to go without. But with a couple adjustments, you  were able to stay competitive. That’s my whole point.

I’m not super worried about it. I didn’t like playing the nasty streak + vanguard +3 aka backs and now you gotta spend 1/6th of your AP minimum for an X factor

I think the real problem is that it literally makes any players below a 96 auto inferior or useless as they don’t have free ability slots usually, and yeah as the game goes on you shoudl be upgrading to higher tier cards but for the people who dont have time/money to spend to get those cards it’s a huge disadvantage

I built a team around 12 ap. To change it when they introduced end game players is bullshit. I'd be fine if it happened prior but like the top comment said it's a money grab and in my opinion ea makes more than enough. No need to f$$k your player base out there pockets like that I didn't get to take advantage of any glitch packs I grinded to 4 mill over months of play. Before the update I could have bought a full team afterwards I can only afford to make 4 upgrades to my team F!#k OFF EA. Like I said if they did this 3 months ago I'd be fine with it but they did it when they started releasing end game players on purpose and I won't be dishing out my money to keep up. I'll wait till ncaa comes out to play a ea football game at this point. They honestly did me a favor playing the same copy pasted game every year for 70 bucks a pop was unhealthy anyways ✌️ EA.

We get that you're in favour of the change, judging by your many posts on the subject. No need to keep shoving your viewpoint down everyone's throats.
