Hello. is it important the pursuit for a cb? what is a good number? i have, deion, sherman, slay, jack rabbit, rod woodson and boldin. I am not able to define who I should play for a man and zone combo? Thank you
At this point, as close to 99 as possible. Most 99 overalls are 93+. Personally, I would just make sure with whatever boosts you have get them at least 95+. But again, as close to or at 99 if possible imo.
The juke, agility and acceleration of these WRs will smoke you after the catch. I can also say the same about these elusive HBs.
Sherman and Revis pursuit is pretty low and the main reason I moved on from them.

Thank you! I have the same problem with Sherman. But with a niners tt I like to have all niners players!
I never notice pursuit personally, I wouldn’t stress about it unless you already have enough coins to get whoever you want whenever you want

i prefer a balanced team than having players like larry allen who costs 1.6 million

I’ve just recently been noticing this too. Sherman’s low pursuit makes him get killed at up top safety.
Just recently I’ve been lookin a lot more at pursuit as well. Deion, Moss, Pola Mao, and Lester all have good pursuit but after that it can get kinda rough. Rod Woodson and Leon are both in the low 90s and Sherman and Boldin are both in the mid 80s which is awful. It’s easy to boost pursuit though, especially at safety. With the Power Run chem you can get +3 pursuit to everyone and then with a strategy card you can get another +3 to safeties. Trey Lance has good pursuit too but then you can’t run pick Artist and deep out zone KO on him.

I played him outside and if he didn’t get a good press he was barbecue chicken
I thought pursuit was just how good a player is at taking the right angles or quickest path towards a ball carrier? I never heard anyone discuss it when it comes to cb's. I don't known how it is on current gen but on old gen pursuit has been broken for years cause the defender will pause briefly if a runner slightly makes an inside move or even just slightly moves inside while running. Defenders will stutter step or briefly twitch allowing a kind of manipulation by the rb or whoever is running the ball. I would think agi/cod and size of the CB along with his coverage ratings is what really determines how closely a CB keeps up with a receiver. I don't know if they fixxed it for current/new gen but pursuits been messed up since madden 20 or longer cause I remeber it used to be much better.

Yeah I understand pursuit the same way you are describing. It matters most in run support because the higher the pursuit the better the angle to the ball carrier.
To me higher pursuit is more important for your SubLb’s/LB’s, safeties, and pass rushers. CB’s are pretty much the only spot that can get away with having a littler lower pursuit rating and it doesn’t matter much, although I do want a higher pursuit rating on my slot CB’s.
