Route Techs not lighting up....97 and 98 overall...Strat Cards mean nothing

I have never seen this before, but my WR and TE with route tech is not lighting up.

I started a NMS team and Justin Field runs routes like he a 69 overall WR and he has route tech....

Jerry Rice? Not lighting up

OJ Howard? Not lighting up

Herman Moore? Not lighting up.

I never really thought EA nerfed cards but this time it is very evident. I am going to clip Justin Fields and you can watch him run a corner route...wow...its like a 68 overall is running the route...just very bad. It is clear the cards are nerfed for Golden Tickets.

Before, basic football concepts worked against what coverage your believe your opponent is in. Now? N

your opponent is using some kind of man ability 

your opponent is playing zone

either way I would switch to short in elite, I’ve heard it works better than route tech and it’s what I use on all my pass catchers. I’m on old gen so take it with a grain of salt but my Justin fields cooks with short in and I’ve not tried route tech

Cards will only get you so far though. Thats why theres the term CCW (credit card warrior) best cards but terrible at the game

Agreed. People overstate the advantage of good teams and usually DDA is just complaining that you lost
