Is there any way to make challenges count...I've completed multiple times with 5 stars and go to play next challenge and it says complete the challenge I just completed!?

It seems to be bugged based on feedback. A few things I did that helped me progress through it were: 1) I always returned to challenges after completing instead of play next challenge 2) If I failed the first time, I'd back out and reload it because the OT counter up top seemed off if I restarted from in game 3) I always tried to end the challenge on a TD on the last play I needed for the bonus star
I don't know if any of that stuff matters but I was able to get through them without any major issues

All of what he said helped me as well. Mainly just avoid restarting in game, so make sure you win right away or back out and repeat if you do lose.
