If John madden was alive, what would he think of madden 23

He would have realised that EA actually hate him, in line with Gutfoxx's now infamous tweet.

There's a reason EA waited till he died to make him a cover.

He would have cashed the royalty checks just like he did every other year.

Nothing cause this game has been dead for years now, and he never cared just wanted money. Madden 23 would of been a different person on the cover and not a dedication. So I think he would of sat back and collected all his money and move on

Absolutely!   I was replying more or less tongue-in-cheek, but it is kind of funny how some think he would have been so offended.

He would've said yesterday's price is not today's price

My assumption is that as long as it played somewhat like football he wouldn’t get upset. He didn’t mind for a while so I doubt madden 23 would bother him specifically. Don’t use the death of a good man to make a point about a video game. Love to his family, and all y’all :))

He would say "F this game get rid of EA" and sue EA
