It seems that way since the objectives expire tomorrow on 6/15. We can't predict if EA will add anymore after the season ends so it's best to operate as if there won't be any more opportunities.

There are two lists for the two types of tokens you need to upgrade FAP players.

The Fan Appreciation Daily Unlock Objectives contain Fan App Tokens.

The Fan Appreciation Objectives reward you with Final Fan App Tokens. Final Fan App Tokens are used for the last tier of upgrade to get the player to 99. 

Sorry if that's confusing. I don't really know how to explain it better.

Mine did the same thing. I had to downgrade him (remove the token from the upgrade) for it to track. 

It seems that once you put an upgrade token in, the game no longer sees him as a fan appreciation player.  I probably lost 15 games of stat progression before finding this out.

He’s not bad, I’m not usering him, but he’s not terrible. You can’t change the card art, but he’s hella fast

REPOST:I’m also not sure why EA made a Bo Jackson Fan Appreciation SS when he’s getting a golden ticket that’s the same. I thought they were gonna do the Ed Too Tall situation from last year, where he got a CB Fan Appreciation card and a GT WR card.
