Good morning y’all (New Zealand Time, 10am here)
just thought i’d make a random post about the position depth of m23 and my thoughts on it. you’re welcome to include yours!
QB: i felt as if this year QB depth was shallow. it was very dependant on abilities and release. felt as if H2H consisted of the same group of guys at QB over and over bc of this
HB: another group which really suffered this MUT. before AKA R2, it was fine but since then, X factor backs are the best HB’s in the game no questions asked. same H2H issue as QBs
WR/TE: the short in short out abilities are superior, however apart from the height meta at the start of the game, the WR’s have been pretty interchangeable especially since a lot of guys get route tech for free now, I’ve found it hard to stick to a few guys at receiver or tight end this year which is pretty cool! change of players is nice
DE/DT/OLB: another AKA dominance before the AP patch, since then the diversity has been okay. a lot of folk going for best 0 AP stacks at their d line, and there are a few options with supreme tackler, inside stuff, ETE, DON etc.
MLB: if they don’t got lurker they ain’t on the squad. if they got lurker, they ain’t touching the field anyway. all i need to say about MLBers
CB: The variety here has been pretty decent. allows us gamers to choose our defensive scheme, whether we want to run man or zone abilities. i’ve been pretty happy with the variety of cards released here
SS/FS: boy oh boy. the choices we’ve had here has been overwhelming. i have abundance of safety’s who can’t play the field but i have enjoyed using so much. to name a few of my favourites; sean taylor, Pola-mao, atwater, larry fitz, kevin byard, chad johnson, julius peppers, ryan neal, derwin james, adrian wilson, kam. this position group has been stacked
