Opinion - would you sit a TT card for a better non-TT card?

For example, I run 30 or 35/50 Giants TT. EA has released a bunch of Giants LTDs...I picked up Kadarius Toney and Odell. Along with Claypool's LTD and Kupp as WR # 4, these are basically my starting 4 WR's.

however, UL Moss is coming, and I need to get him.

The logical play , to have the best team possible, even with Giants TT chems on Toney, is to go with Kupp or Claypool, Odell, and Moss. I could stay true to my TT and run Odell and Moss on the outside with Toney in the slot, but honestly Claypool and Kupp play better than Toney. 

So what would you guys do? Stick with your TT players or go for the better players as long as you can maintain at least 25/50?

If I were you I would play Toney because even tho he might be a slight worse it’s more fun playing with the people you like.

I mean when I ran my saints TT for a while I used Mike T over Kupp even though I could afford him. I’d go Odell, Toney, and Moss. Claypool or Kupp as WR4 is your choice but Claypool is bigger bodied so I’d go with him. I think it’s more fun to use your actual TT players which is why usually when I pick a theme team to do I pick one with players I know I’m going to use whether they are the best or not, but that’s really your decision since it’s your team, but in my opinion Kupp is the odd man out. He doesn’t fit the TT and isnt the best non-TT receiver out of your options (Him, Moss, Claypool).

My general policy is playing my star theme team players when running a theme team.....

I guess the point of having a TT is using players from that team.  HoweverI'm not a huge fan of Toney, but I am a Giants fan for over 40 years.....  I do like Moss  tho but then I'd have 3 WRs who can't block and I like to run the ball.......I guess I'll try different combinations

For sure man. Use whoever you want but honestly Claypool might end up being better than moss by a hair due to blocking ability Honestly but we’ll see. I understand wanting to use moss though his cards always go crazy

Won’t have to worry about any of this when Brandon Marshall gets an upgrade...also I would sell Claypool while he’s high. Once we get a couple more big time receiver upgrades that can be built with sets his price will likely drop. Just never know when.   

I rarely put 4 WR’s on the field at the same time. I would imagine Moss, Kupp, and Toney/Odell would be a great combo for a while.

You wouldn't ask a question like that if you were running a TT.  If you want the best WR, Moss is the man. IMO

I’d expect a veteran like yourself to understand that you should go 50/50 and then throw the other guys in specialists roles.

I never run a full TT because I've been around the sport so long I have favorites other than players on the Giants... guys like Walter , Rod Woodson, Montana, Namath, Mean Joe, etc. So I use as many Giants as many favorite players as I can.

Like a lot of people I run 25/50 !

and the rest I use my favorite players in general,  usually legends or UL

barely any difference in  25 vs 30 vs 35, just use kupp and claypool. (Or sell them and keep upgrading ur team to the best 50/50 giants to)

In all cases...I play best card I got with no regard to TT.
