I'm curious what the community thoughts on this are. Is it practically the offense version of KOs where it does a bit too much? Getting to counter most dline abilities is definitely strong

I would say yes because whenever my opponent has secure protecter on their entire oline, they always destroy me in the run.

In the run game more than in the pass imo. I have all secure pros and I feel an immediate difference in the run game than the pass. 15% of the time a Sam Adams with Under Pressure gos right through my center on pass plays.

Who do you have at center?

Personally, I think it's great in the run and pass game. Generally, most of the sacks I take are because I hold the ball too long or I didn't block the blitz properly and my entire line has secure protector.

If you’re not running 5 secure pro’s on your o line, you’re missing out. Unstoppable force will still work against it, but that’s about it.

my 99 o line with sp still gets blown up on a regular basis

No in my opinion it's overrated still good but not the end all be all I have sp all over my line and will still get shedded to hell by non pass rush or run stopping dlinemen.

I know on old gen SP is definitely not OP. In fact I can't really tell the difference between having it and not. I have it on my whole o-line except my LG who has NS.

Agreed. Getting to counter practically every defensive line ability in the game for 0 ap is insane value.

I also think it contributes to strength of KOs as well. If your dline abilities aren't going to have a meaningful impact on the game, you mine as well use AP on abilities that will. And most of the abilities that work on defense are KOs, Pick Artist, and Inside Shade style abilities.
