Just played some H2H games, and every time I scored a TD, I’d get blocked on my extra point attempt. And the guy who blocked the kick had like 150 speed?? He was much faster than any 99 I’ve seen.
anyone know why this happens? And can I do it somehow?

Its a known bug on last gen versions of Madden.

its a cold welcome to high level H2H play on old gen. At least you no longer need to worry about, people booming 60+ yard FGs and running down clock to score an easy game winning FG.

Great timing, i just learned about this situation a couple/few evenings ago -- hadn't ever played PS4 version online H2H, til i finally managed to check out some Squads play with friends. Yer opponents are calling liek Safe Man Left on PAT (and FG) attempts, which basically guarantees 100% blocked kicks. I managed to get in the way and manually block the opponents from a single PAT attempt in Squads, but it's not easy and not sure how you'd achieve that by yerself. Go for two, i guess.
Not sure what the solution is, but it's been patched/fixed in next-gen consoles. The PS5 version is a very different game.

Yeah it’s a glitch when you try to block the kick with safe man left you user the 2nd kick blocker and he gets a speed boost to the ball, best thing I can recommend to avoid it is hold the kick after you finish your meter and release the kick at random times don’t just release right away sometimes hold it another 5 secs sometimes 10 secs you get what I mean just you need to keep you opponents guessing to avoid it as best you can
On old gen there’s a stupid glitch so I’d honestly suggest you do 2pt attempts from now on
imo it was worth it to get Scottish Hammer and put him at kicker, not the most powerful leg in the world but at least you’re not getting blocked 95% of the time
