So for the programs tab in the Season 5 Field Pass, there is Rookie Premiere. I put Sam Hubbard in my lineup and am not getting stats as if I have a Rookie Premiere player in your lineup. Do you need to have the 99's in your lineup?

I had the same issue, having an RR player isn't enough to make the objectives count. But I completed the Lukas Van Ness RP set, inserted him into the lineup, and, hey presto, it works!
It definitely sucks to have to do this if you're not interested in any of the current RP players though. EA should have definitely structured this better.

I was about to do the same, even had one of mine on the AH, but quickly cancelled the auction and got the player back.

if you’re doing the field pass you get two players free to do the RP set
I sold the players 😅
