I unlocked a new captain token…but can’t do anything with it?

Am I missing something? I don’t have an upgrade slot to make my captain a 99, so I don’t understand the point.

EA said the update to let you upgrade the captain is coming sometime later. We have no idea when that later is

Agree it should have been added as soon as you could get the last token. I'm just passing along what EA said.
