INTRO
With us now being in the last month of Madden 23, i thought it would be a good time for me to drop a free, ORIGINAL, offense and defense. I have been running the Tight slot open out of the spread/pass balance playbook for quit some time now and thought that i could share some of my knowledge that i have gained with the rest of my summer players and allow for a good wrap up to this years madden. Tommorow i will drop a Free defensive ebook.

Reading this part may deter some of yall from sctaully giving respect to this ebook but im still goig to drop it in here anyways. I am 16 years old. I am enrolled in college courses and still have no clue what i want to major in. I have acheived a 2nd place metal for 14u hockey in the nation and a 3rd place metal for 16u hockey in the nation. I currently play varsiy highschool football. I can squat 335 and powerclean 225 ( i know none of yall care ). I have really enjoyed creating this offense and perfecting it over the past few months.

OFFENSIVE BASES
this offense is built around flinging the ball all over while also mixing in the run. I feel like this is one of the most common mindsets these days, but i also have a run heavy offense that i would be willing to drop if yall would like to see that.

WHEEL SWITCH
This play has a very rare WR wheel route, which is going to be the only route we keep stock on this play.
SETUP 1
streak the outside receiver and quick throw the wheel.
This quick snap play allows you to get your slot receiver open in space to make a move. The only real way to stop this is to shade man underneath or hard flats.
SETUP 2
Outside receiver on a streak: Leave slot receiver on wheel: Flat HB: Trail TE: Weak side receiver drag
This play allows you to quick throw the wheel, or throw is late in the plays at about 20 yards. The TE trail and weak side receiver drag creates a deadly trail concept. The HB flat is also very crucial for pulling flats down and outside to open up the wheel down field and to hit the drag late.
SETUP 3
Motion outside receiver to the weak side, Put on a streak: Slot receiver on wheel: HB on a streak: TE on an out route: Weakside receiver on a corner
Always look for the quick throw wheel first, then look to the HB vert if the user evacuates the middle of the field. Then look to the short side streak corner flat combo which is already very difficult to defend.
AGGIE
This is a very situational play, essentially only used to beat man coverage( yes, even OSA). The weak side receiver has a very hard cutting corner route. There are NO specific setups for this play, it is mostly just freestyle, which i will talk about later.
QUICK BASE
This is our very good mix it up run play. As this is a run play there are once again so specific setups, but a whole bunch of tips.
TIP 1: Fake hot routes
Always try to make some fake hot routes to throw your opponent off so the never know if it is run or pass.
TIP 2: Don't sprint to early
NEVER EVER SPINT UNTIL AFTER YOU GET THROUGH THE GAP. sprinting causes early sheds and your runs wont bust for nearly as much.
TIP 3: Motion receiver over to block
Motioning receiver over to lead block will always help because you will have more men to block for you.
BENCH
Bench is a play that is found in almost every tight formation, but this one is special. The TE attached to the line of scrimmage runs the corner, meaning it gets much deeper down feild. DISCLAIMER: the slot corner route on this play runs extremely funky, make sure to re corner route him with HRM.
SETUP 1
streak weak side receiver
This is a quick snap play and it is good to get a good chunk down field quickly to your TE.
SETUP 2
Streak weak side receiver: Slot receiver Drag: HB Texas
This play has the very good short side streak corner and a trail concept from the backside of the play.
SETUP 3
Streak weak side receiver: Leave TE on corner: Flat HB: Crosser slot receiver and motion across the formation: Outside receiver on a streak
This play is a absolutely fabulous chunk yardage play. Crossing combo first the work back to the short side streak corner.
SETUP 4
Re Corner route slot receiver: out route outside receiver
This is going to be your typical bench play to beat man coverage.
SETUP 5
Streak weak side receiver: Leave TE on corner route: Motion HB over and flat route: Slot receiver post: outside receiver drag.
This is an all around flood to the weak side
PA READ
This play is the Holy Grail, Bread and butter, Money maker of the formation. The PA is going to help us block the meta blitzes, the deep post will help us drop bombs, and the TE cross is an absolute gem. Always remember that a TE post route will accomplish the same goal as the Stock TE crosser on this play. However, there are a few differences. The post beats Man much better while the crosser gets much deeper.
SETUP 1
Leave TE on crosser or post: Texas HB: zig weak side WR
This creates a route combo that is money against almost all coverages.
SETUP 2
leave TE on crosser or post: flat HB: Slant slot WR: zig Weak side WR
This creates almost the same route combo but with slightly different spacing
SETUP 3
Motion over weakside wr and leave him on his deep post: corner route slot WR: zig outside WR: flat TE: Texas HB
The ever so infamous double corner route can also be found in this offense as well. The hb texas also does a fanominal job of holding the user
SETUP 4
flat weak side WR: Texas hb: Motion over slot WR, leave him on the zig turning him in to a whip return
This play really stresses to user at 3 points of the feild and the he cannot guard the crosser, texas, and whip return as they all hit different areas the yellow zones dont guard well.
SETUP 5
Slant weak side WR, motion over: leave TE on crosser or post: flat HB: hitch slot wr
This is another route combo that really stresses the user and puts them in a position in which there is no right player to gaurd.
BOMBS
A scheme is never complete without the abilty to bomb every coverage
Cover 2
PA READ: Streak TE, C-Route outside WR
post route with a pass lead right up the feild will be a touchdown with a fats enought WR
Cover 3
PA READ: Streak TE, Comeback outside WR
Post route will get over the outside third being held down by the comeback
MATCH
BENCH: Streak slot WR, C-route outside WR, curl route HB
Dont ask me how, but the hb curl glitches out the inside quarter.
FREESTLYE AGAINST MAN
My favorite routes to use are Post routes from the Slot and TE, Texas routes, Slot corner routes, slant routes, C-routes, and Zig routes. A glitchy tip that can work from any offense is to motion the HB out to a WR spot, put him on a HRM route, then motion back to the back feild.
BLOCKING META BLITZES
This is probably the most crucial part of any offense, if you cannot block a blitz then you cannot succeed.
DOLLAR
Simply call PA read and hold RT or R2 to cancel the play action, the slot blitzers will commit to the HB and you are set.
NICKEL OVER
Same as Dollar
NICKEL CUB
This is why we must have a secure protector on the TE. In order to block this blitz, simply block the TE.
