I'm still on old gen but I'll be upgrading to new gen in a little over a month,in time for Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Madden 24. I could honestly stay with old gen another year or so cause I still have many old gen games I haven't beaten like RDR2,Witcher3 but I mainly play MUT 97% of my gaming time but I'll be playing TCM alot as I'm a big horror fan and loved F13 the game and I really want to see what new gen madden is like and be able to kick FG's 😆 😆. I have enough money to buy the more expensive Series X but I really mainly play MUT and 1 or 2 more games but mainly MUT. How big of a difference is the series S compared to the series X and is it worth paying the extra money for the X?
Unless you care a lot about getting the best performance and graphics, series S is probably the way to go. Series S can run most games well enough.
If you buy or use any physical games at all, you should get the Series X as series S is digital only.
I've been using the Series S for a while, no complaints. Runs incredibly well.

All of my games are digital. So if you have the series S and lets say your Wi-Fi goes out or you dont get Wi-Fi anymore then can you still play the games that you own? I know on the old gen xbox one you can still play the games that you own cause I would play the Witcher 3 for the rare occasions when my Wi-Fi would go out. I know I can't play any game pass games or games with gold games or online only games like Fortnite.

Yes, you should be able to play your other games. As long as you set it as your the series S as your home xbox it should not be an issue
