99 OVERALL MUT TEAM

Lets see your 99 overall team, just got mine tonight.

I didn't think this was possible since we don't have 99 Kickers and Punters, did Madden change the way they calculate OVR for M22?

It's possible but you need to use players that aren't actually the best at their position.  Youcan build a 99 OVR team that's not as good as a 97 OVR team. As an example,  I could get Austin Corbett at RG at 99 OVR but Leonard Davis' 98 OVR UL is a better RG . 

I could have 99 OVR defensive ends but I prefer Maxx Crosby at 98 OVR.

I won't force 99s by putting theme team cards that aren' as good or that I don't like as much and  I certainly won't use a kicking strat card, that's a waste just to get my special teams to 99.

But some people feel the need to get that number 99. If that's their goal,  good for them.

I saw someone do it last week. My 98 OVR team was way better than their team but they wanted a 99 and they got it.  More power to them.

You can get to 99 ovr with the leg strat card that boosts punter and kicker.

Yeah, I knew for position players you could get to 99 if you put the highest OVR's in each position, but P and K always kept you from 99 OVR until way past Easter.  Someone else mentioned a Leg strategy card that I wasn't aware of that will boost K and P getting them to 99 as well.  I knew our best kicker is 97 and best punter was 96.
