It’s not. I get beat by NMS just as easily as the high rollers 😂
Its either time or money to get a competitive team. And its scheme over team.
At this point in my life I'd rather pick up 2 hours of overtime at work to by a bundle then spend 8 hours grinding the game for similar rewards.
As others have said... it's pay to get an advantage. And I feel like almost everyone I face has made that investment because I rarely face someone with an obviously worse team than I'm putting out on the field. When EA does happen to match me up with someone like that (usually in the first few games of WL)... it's always an easy win for me.
I feel like the past couple years it's harder for lower OVR teams to compete with god squads but that might just be my personal experience. What I mean is that since I started playing in MUT15... I've always had a top tier team. In past MUTs I would sometimes face guys with obviously worse teams that could be competitive based on their skill. These days, it literally never happens. Maybe I'm just better now than I used to be?
But if you have the money to spend... why not make your life easier and get the best cards possible?
