Should I get C.J Stroud?

I really only care about him in Madden 24 but I’m already getting Josh Allen from the preorder. However, Stroud has Slinger 1 release, while Josh Allen has Slinger 4 release. I also don’t know what overall Josh Allen will be. I can only make 3 or 4 more RPs, so should I get C.J Stroud?

Generally, I'd say if you preordered for Josh Allen but are not making all 32 RPs, don't get Stroud. It's redundant to have two QBs. Personally, I would try to fill as many starting positions as possible with your RPs and pre order players.

I wouldn't count on Stroud having Slinger 1 in mut 24. Rookie QBs don't always keep their releases from their draft/rp cards into the next years game. Kenny Pickett kept Generic 1 from madden 22 into 23. But Desmond Ridder went from Generic 1 on his RP in 22 to Generic 2 in 23.

I agree with breakluna if you aren't making all 32 and are getting josh allen I would make ones that will help you the most.

If you dont care much for slinger 4 (i dont) then yes get stroud so he can be your day 1 QB on 24.

Nothing says he wont get changed to a worse release though

It's the end of July, just do what you want at this point.

I would get Levis  but with the preorder you should have a good running / strong arm QB. I try to think about what challenges are going to be out so a running qb with speed can be helpful in some challenges that require rushing yards. 

Selling everything off and even getting training from any bnd players you can and roll mold breakers to use in sets can be very helpful in doing the rp sets. Not sure how many you got done but you could get both CJ and Levis  depending on your binder and coin situation.  Madden 23 is pretty much going to be dead and honestly already is. 

Take advantage of anything and everything you can to prepare for mut 24.
