How long until someone is kicked for inactivity?

So I’m playing this guy in H2H. Touchdown first drive, pick off his cheese cover 3 beater first play, then he starts taking like a full minute to pick his defensive plays. I score again, pick PAT, and suddenly he’s having “connectivity issues” every few seconds for about 30 seconds. Now I’m sitting waiting for him to pick his PAT defense play, and just watching the various camera angles of the stadium. note that I’m not at the pause menu or frozen on one angle, just changing around.

when will he be kicked for inactivity or forced to pick a play?

Update: I called a timeout, it forced him to pick a random play after 10 seconds, now he’s going to get delay of games and will be booted for griefing

Update 2: he came back after the 2nd delay of game, threw another interception, then somehow  I was unable to use my controller (buttons suddenly wouldn’t work) unless I pressed the pause button and waited a few seconds, even with 0 pauses left. Eventually it hit 21-0 with 3 INTs and he rage quit, but this is a new freeze or connection or some type of glitch I haven’t seen before. Ugh.

Bro had the same thing happen to me the other day  I thought my controller was dead but nope I just couldn’t t do anything it was so darn annoying!

Oh so folks must be glitching or something, im thinking my controller was just going nuts when defending the red zone. I see im.not the only one

There was an original "freeze glitch" that plagued M23 for the first four months.  At that time, the old gen XBox leaderboard had 15 players in the top 100 with 0 points scored or given up.  EA said NOTHING about it.  DMONEY even posted a YouTube video showing exactly how easy it was for these d-bags to do.... to force EA to address the issue.  It went on and on until it was finally fixed around late November.

We had nearly seven month where that particular glitch was not an issue.  But just last month another "freeze glitch" has been popping up.  In F'ing July, these d-bags are getting wins by just locking up your system.  If you wait for them to shut down their console you will get the win.  But who has time for that?  I waited one guy out for 3 hours... he messages me... "Just FYI... I'm going to work now".

I reported it... but there's no way EA will do anything.

The workaround I found was if you have a timeout use it the first time, and for The times after that press the pause button, even if you have no pauses left, and you should be able to use buttons in a few seconds

ps4 there's someone else who does that. or they disconnect before the game starts. and somehow I'm the one with the loss .irritating as hell

Just sitting here for about 20 minutes waiting for a guy to unpause
