I have Wylie in at LG, granted he’s OOP (but has LG as a secondary position)…but what the hell logic is there that he is not a 99?
this game makes no sense

I suspect that putting a player out of position gives them some sort of stat penalty. I never do it unless they get the secondary position (but that might just be superstition on my part).

LG is his secondary position…he Chems are even all active
Lg secondary position chem just allows him to keep all his team chems, it doesn’t allow him to stay the same overall.

right. But if all of his stats are 99+ how could he not be a 99 LG. Shouldnt everybody be 99 everything?

Are we having two different conversations?
if a players stats all are all completely maxed out for every single stat - 99 up and down the board…how can that player not be a 99 overall?
there is a new strategy card in the game that makes every single players stat 99 for every single category, that is what I am referencing.

Oop overall decrease.
having the Chem to move them only keeps the team Chem active and nothing else.
he’s a 90 in left guard.
take a lineman and put them at TE same thing.
I would guess its coded that way, or there are hidden ratings we don't get to see. Like the release(RLS) rating on WRs isn't visible in the game, but a player's RLS rating is visible on this site. Anyways as if you need proof, this rating system for MUT has been out of wack for years.

I got it. Its because it’s and EA game
When a card is OOP there’s a downgrade in its awareness stat, which is crucial to offensive line players. Check the card stats inside the lineup tab to see if that’s the case.

There’s no awareness drop anymore
