madden 24 old gen

The economies are separate now between old gen and new gen- will this affect people’s ability to upgrade partway thru the season? I don’t want to lose my team if I upgrade in October or whatever

I think people were saying that you can't just change from old gen to current gen and have your progress transfer over.  

I'm sticking with old gen because I don't like how sluggish the game plays on current gen.  In my opinion they've really nerfed usering to intentionally slow things down... narrowing the skill gap to accommodate beginners and casual players.  I'm sure those who have made the switch will disagree with my opinion - but universally EVERYONE says it is a much slower game style.

Seems strange though, because it says dual entitlement when you buy. Maybe you can play on either, but your team and progress is separate. Like if you had both new and old gen, you can play on both but you'd basically have two accounts...one on new and one on old?

That's how I think it will be for M24.  In M23... I've been bouncing back and forth.  Guess we will soon find out.
