So I guess abilities will now have a certain % chance to work for example instead of MZKO working a high % of the time it may only start the year at a certain % chance to knock the ball out. Edge threat elite which works every time would have a certain % chance to work. If true then I see them slowly increasing ability % chances of working for certain abilities as the year goes on and newer and better cards come out. It could be a way of making new cards better and abilities better as the game progresses. Of course alot of abilities wouldn't be affected like HRM or GS or BF Master I would think. Can't wait for Madden 24.
If true, I think it's a change for the better. It sucked when you practically knew a certain result was practically guaranteed because of the abilities. Secure protector making most dline abilities useless was bad. And so were KOs that meant the receiver could be open but you could still end up with an incompletion because the defender barely touched the receiver. I will be happy if either of those abilities are less effective.
I just hope there's a good balance to it. If abilities don't activate enough you mine as well not use them but if they activate too much it's not that different from before
This could end up really well and sounds great, however I could also see this ending up bad.

I mean thats the give and take. O line blocks D line and Dbs block WR
What they need to do is make it where you can’t put abilities on every player.
If they won’t take them out, at least make people choose how they are going to play with the abilities and don’t let everyone be op at everything

So thats what the AP cap is for... We started at 12. Then it dropped to 6 and people went BALLISTIC.
