Welcome, welcome! It can be a maddening and frustrating experience to deal with this company, but happy to have you here with us. I just started my first MUT squad in December, so this will be my very first Day 1 MUT launch and i'm getting kind of hyped. Took the day off tomorrow, tried to get decent rest last evening... i'm intending to settle in for a long shift this evening (8PM Eastern launch) and doing it all over again tomorrow.
Thankfully i had the luxury of Easter Egg pack/coin glitch, so i had no issues rolling through all three RP sets. Gonna take it slow, although i'm sure i'll be tempted to start acquiring 49ers cards for the theme team. As a new player, if there's only a single bit of advice I would try to impress upon you, abilities run the entire game. Stats barely matter once you are over certain thresholds, abilities are everything. With reduced 6AP cap that will force us to be extremely selective starting out, only a couple/few players on each side of the ball will get hooked up with abilities. Core Elite players do not get any abilities this year, so don't feel pressure to go out there and get the best possible 84-86 players that come out. As ~82s will be almost as viable week 1.
Hope you're a glutton for punishment -- this game can very much be a rollercoaster of emotion. I'd be very surprised if i'm still here going through another cycle of this in 2024, but i also said that last winter. I'm hoping the first few months of MUT are a wildly different experience, less arcade-y. Good luck to you, Krinkle. What platform you on, sir?
