When I first installed the game it installed the Xbox One edition and I opened my preorder stuff on it because I assumed it would transfer over. When installed series x I didn't see the same MUT I had on Xbox One. Is this a glitch or is this how EA is doing it this year?

It looks like XBX and XB1 are different platforms and different "accounts" this year, so they are not linked. If you have assets on one, they are not shared with the other.

**Game progress may not transfer between platforms. Xbox Series X|S version features and content not available on Xbox One version. it will not since they have different markets

The thing is i'm fine with that since I havent made much progress anyways, but on the series x version I don't have my deluxe edition rewards but I do on xbox one

You’re beat man. You can only get the rewards and preorder content on whichever you opened first that’s it. You won’t get it for the series X now only on the one. Same with your RPs supposedly, they’ll all go to the Xbox one now that you opened that first and from what I heard there is no way to transfer and you gotta use it on whichever gen you opened. There were a bunch of threads warning people about opening the wrong edition. They said that this year you don’t get it on both

I relate to you. I couldn't get on to XBX because of servers, so I went onto XB1 and completed objectives, etc. Spent about 5 hours on there but think that my preorder stuff will be on XBX. What a waste of time...

That's great to hear, I'm glad this is a "make or break" year for EA because they need to fire the dumbasses who fuck up the game every year

I had the same issue since the X/S version isn’t labeled on Xbox. The game images are IDENTICAL.
EA Help told me they can’t transfer the content, which means I will also lose my 32 RPs and Hutchinson.
I requested a refund. I should have known better than to come back to MUT.

if you request refund through microsoft and say you bought the wrong edition they will refund money then you can buy again and hopefully be able to get double the rewards but just make sure you open the series x version first

I'm so pissed! I just realized I did the same thing you did. And from reading the comments, it doesn't seem like it's possible... Any update?
