This may be a stupid question but I'm asking anyway. I had Madden 15 with solo play like the guantlet. Playing full games with teams working your way up the ladder. My next Madden was 23 where only solo battles are available until the end of the season. Why did they do away with some of this solo content? Thank in advance for your answer!

It's all a marketing ploy. They force solo players into H2H where they get destroyed by whales who overspend on the game. They assume if it happens enough to the little guy he will get mad enough to spend money in an attempt to catch up to the whales spending literally hundreds a week. They've really cut down on the amount of solo content the last 2 years which is shitty bcs something like 70% of their customers don't play online due to whales & the toxicity.

Thank you for that answer which makes a lot of sense. I really didn't care for the H2H also because of how players manipulate the game.

Right now I'm stuck. All my solo comp pass is finished. I can't get a single point more without playing H2H. So I either give in and play EA's game or I figure if they don't value solo players enough to give us content to play I go play something else.

I tried MUT Draft last week. It let me play a couple games. I went to continue and all of a sudden I get a message that the server is not available and it boots me out to the main start up screen. When I return to Ultimate Team my challenges disappear. I have to completely restart the game for challenges to re-appear. Any idea what is going on and why I can no longer access the Draft?

I also play NBA2k and MLB the Show, both of which you can play full games against your choice of teams solo. I think ea needs to accommodate ALL the people who buy their game! I spent money on players in 23 and have a good 99ovr team. I don't like h2h because players manipulate the game. I don't feel like competing with try hard people. I'm a casual player that wants to enjoy the game. I actually enjoy building the team more sometimes!
