Where is the content?

This year there were 24.

Sucks that nothing will change. My H2H season won’t load so there is literally nothing for me to do on the game.

16 was my first year playing MUT, with all the journeys, gauntlet and many other solos to do the WHOLE year, I stupidly thought every year would be like 16.. but every year the solos got less and less, which sucks cause I prefer solos over h2h but have been forced to play h2h to even get a half way decent team. The rewards for playing those old solos were actually decent instead of bnd 24 ovr crap

The problem is “we” are the content.

Years ago when I was becoming bored with maddens awful franchise mode a sports gaming website put up an article that said ”maddens number 1 mode for solo players isn’t what you think it is”.  The article basically talked about how awful franchise had gotten and how amazing MUT was.  At that time they were right.  There was so much to do at all times and so many things to chase.

Now it’s about engagement and because of that “we” are the content.  Buy your packs then jump onto H2H and that’s your only real content.  There are literally no ways to advance your level as a solo only player.  In the past if you liked h2h you could level up via h2h XP but if you liked challenges you could level up that way also.  Now your actual level is dictated almost solely to how much you engage with h2h content.

I just hope it improves.  I really like the gameplay this year but I’m concerned with how much they are leaning into h2h and away from solos.

Also don’t get me wrong there are a good number of solos now but it pales in comparison to the past and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be alot of thought involved in them.  An entire promo’s solos can be dealt with in under 30 minutes.  I remember journey and gauntlet taking me WEEKS

Zero content but more packs to buy than ever. This is without question EAs worst money grab year. Solos for legends were incredible easy, no rewards really from it BUT they’ve given bundled both weeks to get full legends. They could care less about hours played, they just want the credit card swipes.

If you want to improve your team, you just gotta compete.

There's soooo much offline content if you just wanna play the game.

The content is in your wallet, max your credit card, and max all checks, heck put the mortgage down and your good for life.

Your reward? Guaranteed lag, Man to Man defense and no zone defense along with a splash and a pitch of spinner Blitz

Does need more content but made 200 mil no money spent last year already at 1.5 mil this year so making coins fairly easy once u r willing to snipe and flip and then learn to invest in training......watch ijoebruin he will teach u a ton

Yeah I agree, that rule about not getting stats on loses especially is stupid and wrong

I do agree it is a little bit of a cash grab, but I grinded coins for a week (2 mil now) and bought a team of plat players who I upgrade with team builders I later sell for profit. went 15-10 in mut champs this week, in my first year playing online at all. Use a good offense and defense and master the plays.

I always wonder how it is possible to grind millions in one or two weeks? Do I oversee something? :)

I also dont like the new „countd only at wins“ but more annoying is the increase in match time. 5 min a quarter is way too long. I liked the 3 min quarters from last year.

Agreed on the length of quarters. you can make a mil in 2 weeks by getting 75k a day. in this market, anything in packs is worth a ton, and team builder sets print coins when I have too much at the moment. I also snipe cards sometimes.

Does anyone know if there is a content release schedule like MLB the show has?
