Imagine…. all the record books and stats would look so differently if stats only tracked in wins. Now I’m curious who the true GOATs are. Brady and Rice still up there probably. Dan Marino would’ve been a nobody. Barry Sanders would be trash. Megatron, Moss most his career, both LTs… man they‘d all be out the HOF

I dont get this argument. This just encourages quitting. So with that logic, stats shouldn’t count when an nfl team loses a game? I guess all the nfl records are tainted… if stats recorded during loses, wouldn’t that encourage ppl to finish games while losing and make it more like an nfl simulation?

Holy shit, i made a new buddy recently, after a full weekend of online H2H gameplay... i managed to finish one (1) full game. And we ended up adding one another on PSN, it was such a special occasion, for both of us, apparently. I lost, 24-21 (i think), but we both exchanged "GG" afterwards and some brief chatter.
This shouldn't be liek winning the lottery to find a non-cheese opponent online, uggh. The amount of 0-0 games I played over the weekend was appalling. I'm trying hard to get into this year's game and hoping to enjoy the game, but it's been a real grind. Not sure what to do at this point.
NBA2K seems to have an online feature where if you quit two games within a short period of time, they put you on cooldown for ~30 minutes, or so. Might be time to implement something similar.

Actually tho I won 15 straight Champs games all of the them didn't go past the 2nd quarter its insane

Well, you've given me a glimmer of hope, perhaps i can catch a few lucky breaks, haven't yet worked up the courage to try MUT Champs, i guess i'm overdue. I wanted to be able to pass the ball before taking my chances, oof. Sick of sailing the ball into the sidelines, guess i need to start saving up for Warren Moon, or Famous Jameis.

This was a good idea to prevent quitting that backfired and has resulted in every game resulting in a quit out before the 3rd quarter. I dont think a quit penalty is the answer bc as some ppl have said what is the point when the entire comp pass is passed "niche stats while winning" and you are losing.
Some changes I would like to see:
-after 8, 12 and 16 wins in get an exclusive player (would be fine with a random pack midfield/redzone pack) So that if they quit at least its like, ehh at least im 1 win closer to the carrot at the end of the tunnel for the week, while the other guy gets to lick his wound and move on to the next opponent and save time
- Standardize the "much be achieved while winning" stats. I feel like there have been times I purposely fell when winning on second down, so that it would be third down which is super risky, just so I could get a 3rd down convert. Or im on the 1 yard line and I pass 4 times just to get a stupid pass obj when I could just HB dive in for an easy score.
It should be something you get natural if you win, like score X amount of points, or get X amount of TDs/tackles. It shouldn't influence how you play the game and your playcall. Especially at the high comp online mode
