like it’s a lose lose situation because obviously you get no stats for a loss but even on wins, your opponent just leaves in the first quarter or first half and doesnt even give you a chance to build up stats. Ridiculous idea to track stats only on wins.
They like to throw 💩 at the wall sometimes, to see if it sticks
Agreed, it's one of the main negatives for mut this year. At least for average to bad players like myself. The only time the loser feels incentived to stay in the game is in close back and forth game. I know the response is going to be GiT gUd CaSuAl. But it's difficult for me to be motivated to get better when I get almost nothing
They should at least give 50% for a loss

And that’s the thing too, even good players are affected by this because the opponent is more than likely going to quit with in the first two quarters so the good players can’t build up stats ether lol

Good idea
Kinda sucks for people who have busy lives
Yea I agree. I had 6 wins in a row. 4 of them quit after 1 stop and 1 score or before. It’s ridiculous.

I don't quit quite that early but it's a real disincentive to try for the epic comeback when down say 3 or 4 possessions to start off the second half. Basically feels like in the long run it's time better spent starting a new one.

They need a system that rewards competitiveness. Win/loss is too lazy. If they can score the performance of a solo battle, they can score a H2H game. A win is 100%, if you lose in OT you get close...sliding scale down to 0% for a bail.
The majority of comp rewards lie in registering stats in Champs wins. If you lack skill or don't have 8 hrs a day to play I'm not sure what motivates you to play.
Agreed I got 15 wins but I’m short on the points scored by a touchdown cause of so many first quarter quits and I’m not even a great player. I have two losses but is it even worth playing another game just to get that final touchdown for 12 comp pass points. Idk I have everything else though.

Disagree. Stat tracking in online game modes is dumb. Wins should be all you need for online rewards
I'm assuming the only selling point internally was that it was necessary to stop people from just stat trading in games. I do agree that it causes more harm than good. I had a 23-2 week and still missed out on finishing the 25+ passing TDs objective.

It's not dumb at all if it's done the right way. EA fucked it up and that's the problem. All they have to do is allow stat tracking in losses and we would be fine
