Try running prevent and wait till the check down and the go for it

In addition, flicking down for a cut tackle will also count. This can be useful if the TE or other large players end up getting the ball and you have to make a tackle with a smaller player.

The one from Sherman? I think was a bitch. Couldnt get sticks for my life. Just kicked FG ands got it on the kickoffs. 

Even these Blitz animations dont count as sticks which is crazy.

Prevent zone put your drops at 30 and allow them the check down to the rb or te

Also, change your coaching adjustments - tackling to aggressive 

helps the cpu occasionally land a big hit too
